Elementary
You are required to stay for at least 1 class
each week.
Middle/High School
Pay the one monthly fee and get access to all
classes. Each class has a one time supply fee.

Class Descriptions
Title: Exploring Art
Grades: K4-2nd
Teacher: Brooke Duggan
Class Info: We will be
using the Artistic Pursuits curriculum for Preschool/Kindergarten.
Students will learn the basics of painting, coloring, drawing and much
more. This is a great foundation in art and is a wonderful hands on class.

Title: Latin For Children
Grades: 2nd - 6th

Class Info: Latin is
such a fun and important class to learn. It can help children with their
vocabulary skills, reading comprehension and to expand their knowledge of
the unknown. Children will learn via chants, activities, DVD lessons and
class activities.

Algebra 1A
Grades: 6th-12th
Teacher: Evie McLarty
Class Info: We will be
starting with Algebra basics and working through a whole course (Algebra
1B will be offered 2nd semester). We will be following the Key to
workbooks and online program. This course will allow students with no
prior knowledge of Algebra to jump right in. This is also great as a
refresher course for upper grades preparing for the ACT.
This class counts as 1/2
credit in Algebra

Title: Song School Latin
Grades: K4-2nd

Class Info: Song School
Latin is a curriculum for younger kids who love to explore. They will
learn vocabulary words each week by means of game play and CD. This is a
fun class that will cover more than you would ever think. Students will
have their own workbook and CD so that they can practice at home. Latin is
an important language that gives some key building blocks for kids
vocabulary in the future.

Title: Travel thru
Literature
Grades: 2nd - 6th
Teacher: Beth Emeley
Class Info: Join us in
an adventure thru literature featuring exotic locations and thrilling
stories. We will be studying Around the World in 80 days by Jules Verne
and Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling.

Title: Greek Mythology **NEW**
Grades: 6th-12th
Teacher: Evie McLarty
Class Info: We will be
studying about Greek Mythology with Memoria Press's Famous Men of Greece
study. We will also be following along with Percy Jackson and the
Lightning Thief. These books provide background information on Greek
Mythology with a fun twist. We will have activities for each class as well
as watch the Lightning Thief movie at the end of this class. This class is
1/2 credit in Greek Mythology (elective or literature)

with us as we journey through the lives of our US Presidents. Each week we
will learn about the presidents in chronological order. We will learn
important facts and do fun activities. This will be a class your kids will
never forget.

will be following the book Short Lessons in Art History. Each week we will
cover at least 2 famous artist lives, works and important events . There
will be basic art activities, worksheets and homework. This class is 1/2
credit in Art.

An Interactive
Study of Famous Authors
Grades: K4-2nd

Class info: This class will be a unit study that covers art, math,
language arts and science. We will be covering the following authors: Eric
Carle, Dr. Seuss, Jan Brett and H.A. Rey. We will have lots of hands on
activities to keep the kids engaged while learning as well as having fun.
