What are the advantages for enrolling my 3 - 6yr old, when they don't "legally" have to be enrolled until the age of 7? 

 

The advantages are numerous.

• Monthly Field Trips (we get the school group field trip rate, so most field trips are only $5 per person.)

• Monthly Playdates

• Quarterly Service Projects (ways to teach your child about giving to others.  One example of this is we plan to adopt a child from the Angel Tree or buy some essentials and toys for a needy family this Christmas.)

• Quarterly Meet & Greet Nights (drinks provided, game room is open, and I plan to bring a few fun activities for the youger kids)

• Family Fun Days (Ice cream socials, Family Movie Days, tons of social and play time)

• Co-op Classes - a wide variety of co-op classes for all ages (most of these are geared towards children in Kindergarten and up)

• Elementary Sports Programs through Csports which includes basketball, soccer, flag football, softball and baseball

• Music lessons through C-Arts Music and Kindermusik

• Up to date information via message board, Facebook and Twitter.

• Yearbook - yearbook staffed by students

• T-shirt and photo ID which allows others to recognize you as being part of a school group

• The knowledge that your child is learning and growing through interaction with others in a safe and fun environment with you present every step of the way. 

The biggest advantage for myself is all the educational and fun field trips, playdates and social events give me an opportunity to discuss home education ideas and questions with other parents.  It's also a great time for the children to have fun, socialize and just enjoy being kids.
